Travelers: Here is a short list of things to do regarding this blog.
1) Accept the Author invitation immediately! If you wait until you arrive, you may be out of luck. Contact me if you have trouble signing up. Please try to have your name attached to your email for recognizability!
2) Let your rellies and friends know the URL please! Likewise social media if you wish. I'm old so I only know Facebook.
3) Please write pre-departure posts! On your laptop or desktop or tablet should work fine from the US directly into the blog.
4) From TZ, I suggest writing on your word processor, then uploading, rather than trying to do it directly in the blog.
5) Photos add a lot. If you can keep them under 300K or 1200 pixels wide or tall, they should be easily good to view. Same rules you would adhere to in the US about people:PERMISSION. Don't use patient photos with identifiable people even with permission. (They will feel obligated to say yes.)
I think I have successfully accepted the invitation to participate in blogging. Looking forward to seeing you all in Amsterdam/Ilula. I am not sure yet how I might participate other than to support Cindy but I will do what I can. Most of my career was in developing processes to build advanced semiconductors but I later got a licensed as a teacher in MN, IL and NC. I taught 7th grade science ce for 4 yrs so have some experience there.
ReplyDeleteSorry, I accidentally published before I was done. I also have done a lot of handyman work and building as a volunteer and as a homeowner. If this gives anyone thoughts as to how I might contribute let me know. I am open to suggestions.
